2005 National League MVP:
It was a day to remember for Zulu's Fred Dunlap, who won the National League MVP today. It put the finishing touches on what has been a tremendous season for the slugger. Dunlap has hit for a .361 average this season. He has 67 extra base hits along with 318 total bases, resulting in a .534 slugging percentage. He's 2nd in the National League in batting and 3rd in RBI!
2005 National League Cy Young Award:
Zulu's right-hander Stan Coveleski was untouchable all year long. His work paid off today as the National League named him the Cy Young Award winner! Stan has a record of 20-10 this season, with an ERA of 2.25. In 272.1 Innings he was able to strike out 43 batters. Stan has pitched 5 shutouts and 9 complete games. He's 2nd in the National League in ERA and 1st in wins!
2005 National League Rookie of the Year
The National League Rookie of the Year winner was announced today, with Zulu's pitcher Toad Ramsey earning the trophy for putting up the best numbers among rookies in his league. His ERA of 3.13 helped him to a 19-6 record this year. He struck out 196 and walked 108 in 247.2 innings. He's 2nd in the National League in wins!
2005 National League Manager of the Year
Michael Hickey is the 2005 Manager of the Year in the National League. Hickey led his Zulu Cannibal Giants to a a 102-60 record, and the National League's Lone Star Division title.
2005 American League MVP:
Framingham's leftfielder Ted Williams will never forget this day as well. A great season convinced the voters that he is the worthy American League MVP winner. His season features a batting average of .332 (181 hits in 546 AB), 29 doubles, 2 triples and 25 homeruns. Williams drove in 98 runs, and scored 107 runs as well. He's 1st in the American League in OBP, and 6th in homeruns!
2005 American League Cy Young Award:
Awards may not be the most important thing for Cherokee Fisher, but Wilmington's right-hander smiled as he was named the American League Cy Young Award winner. Opposing players hit .235 against Cherokee this season. While posting an ERA of 1.91 he went 25-7 in 40 starts, fanning 41 and walking 27 hitters. Fisher has pitched 4 shutouts and 9 complete games. He's 1st in the American League in ERA and 1st in wins!
2005 American League Rookie of the Year:
Harry Krause was named the American League Rookie of the Year winner today. Florida's pitcher put up pretty good numbers for a rookie this year. This 22 year old kid will probably have a long and successful career! Harry has a record of 17-10 this season, with an ERA of 2.50. In 233.2 Innings he was able to strike out 131 batters. He has 3 complete games and one shutout.
2005 American League Manager of the Year:
Jay Pope of the Wilmington Powerhouse was named the American League's 2005 Manager of the Year. The Powerhouse had the best OTL record this year, winning 105 games, while losing only 57, which was good enough to snag the American League's Dixie Division Title.

2004 National League MVP:
A season for the ages earned Galveston's centerfielder Mickey Mantle the National League MVP this year. Mantle batted .308, and drove in 115 runs, 2nd in the National League. His .559 Slugging Percentage was tops in the NL, and he was 3rd in homeruns with 34!
2004 National League Cy Young Award:
All the hard work finally paid off for Denny Driscoll of the Zzyzx Geodes. The southpaw was named the Cy Young Award winner in the National League today. In 35 starts this year Denny struck out 51 batters in 235.2 innings of work. His ERA is 2.21, his record 21-5. He has 6 complete games and 2 shutouts. He's 1st in the National League in ERA, and 1st in wins!
2004 National League Rookie of the Year
Texas Mudhens pitcher Russ Ford has worked hard to reach the big leagues. His work paid off today as the National League named him the Rookie of the Year winner! This season Ford's record was 14-5 in 36 starts. He fanned 135 in 259.2 innings. Ford lead the NL in quality starts with 30, and his 2.43 ERA was 2nd in the NL behind Cy Young winner Denny Driscoll!
2004 National League Manager of the Year
Mike Bishop is this year's Manager of the Year in the National League. Bishop led his Zzyzx Geodes to a a 94-68 record, and the title in the NL East Division.
2004 American League MVP:
Framingham's first baseman Lou Gehrig had a fabulous season as well, no doubt about it. The American League shared this opinion and named the 24 year old "Iron Horse" the MVP winner! Gehrig hit 37 homeruns this year while batting .313. He adds 32 doubles, along with 105 runs scored. He's 1st in the American League in RBIs, and 1st in homeruns!
2004 American League Cy Young Award:
Tommy Bond will never forget this year. His dominating season convinced the American League to name Cabrini's right-hander the Cy Young Award winner of 2004. This season Bond compiled an ERA of 2.77, going 21-5 in 34 starts. He fanned 47, and walked only 9 batters. He has 4 complete games and one shutout. Bond was 7th in the American League in ERA, and 1st in wins!
2004 American League Rookie of the Year:
Rookie of the Year in the American League is Ed "Cannonball" Morris of the Zulu Cannnibal Giants. Morris pitched 193 innings, winning 13 and losing 7. He struckout 95 and walked 24.
2004 American League Manager of the Year:
Jim Devlin of the Florida Pelicans was named the American League's Manager of the Year for the second year in a row. The Pelicans won 95 and lost 67, good enough to snag the American League's Western Division Title. Florida went on to down Framingham in the ALCS, and topped off their season winning the 2005 OTL World Series!

The National League Cy Young Award winner was announced today, with Springfield's right-hander Guy Hecker taking home the desired trophy. He certainly earned it, he struck fear into hitters all year long. This season Hecker compiled an ERA of 2.34, going 24-7 in 35 starts. He fanned 88 while giving up 228 hits in 284.1 innings. He has 16 complete games and 5 shutouts. He's 5th in the National League in ERA and 1st in wins!
2003 National League MVP:
It was a day to remember for Seattle's Mickey Mantle, who won the National League MVP today. It put the finishing touches on what has been a tremendous season for the slugger. Mantle batted .325 and slugged .554. He has collected 112 runs batted in this year
2003 National League Rookie of the Year

Oroville's Warren Peters was named Manager of the Year in the National League. Peters skippered the Padres to a 109-53 record. The Oroville Padres topped off their successful season by winning the 2003 OTL World Series.
