Motown 3, Oceanside 4
OCEANSIDE - Motown's Hugh Duffy (10) hit a 2-run homerun in the top of the 8th to tie the game, but Hack Wilson's 2-out single with runners at first and third in the bottom of the 9th, scored Kiki Cutler from third, giving Oceanside the 4-3 win over the Wildcats. Ken Griffey, Sr. had three hits for the 'Cats.

Louisville 14, Calcutta 6
CALCUTTA - Johnny Frederick had four hits, including a homerun (4) and five RBIs, Ed Morgan had three hits, including a homerun (9) and four RBIs, Bob Bailey (10) hit a 2-run homerun, Bobby Doerr (5) hit a solo shot, and Chick Galloway had three hits, as Louisville pounded out a 14-6 win over Calcutta. Dick Wakefield had two hits and three RBIs for the Indians.

Oroville 5, Zzyzx 4
ZZYZX - Oroville scored twice in the top of the 9th, and "Eck" came on to retire the side in order in the bottom of the 9th, giving the Padres a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over Zzyzx.

West Liberty 4, Cleveland 1
CLEVELAND - Howie Camnitz pitched 3-hit ball for six innings, and West Liberty scored three runs in the top of the 9th, to get a 4-1 win over Cleveland. Chuck Klein had three hits and two RBIs to lead the Warthogs.

Cabrini 7, Bandera 1
BANDERA - Dave Magadan and Harvey Hendrick each drove in a pair of runs in leading Cabrini to a 7-1 win over Bandera. Dick Allen (21) homered, and George Harper had three hits for the Cowboys.

Wilmington 4, Springfield 0
SPRINGFIELD - Orvall Overall took a 4-hitter into the 8th inning, and Ben Pascual hit his seventh homerun of the season, as Wilmington shutout Springfield 4-0.

Oakland 6, Galveston 5
GALVESTON - Yogi Berra doubled down the rightfield line with the bases loaded and two out in the top of the 8th, scoring all three runners, capping a 4-run Oakland rally, and the Terriers held on to edge Galveston 6-5. Fred Lynn (13) homered and Wade Boggs drove in two runs for the Amazin' Orangemen.

Florida 1, Glen Wilton 3
GLEN WILTON - Ferdie Schupp pitched seven innings of 2-hit ball, and Pee Wee Reese hits a 2-run homerun, as Glen Wilton downed Florida 3-1.

Houston 4, Woodlands 2
WOODLANDS - In the top of the 4th, Keith Hernandez double in two runs, pitcher Lefty Grove doubled in another run, and Houston held on to beat Woodlands 4-2. Grove pitched 3-hit ball for seven innings to even his Gunslingers record at 10-10.

Newark 4, College View 5
COLLEGE VIEW - Jimmy Sheckard singled to right in the top of the 8th, scoring Fred Carroll from third with the go-ahead run, and College View held on to edge Newark 5-4.

Finnerton 7, Zulu 5
ZULU - Joe "Old Reliable" Start had three hits and four RBIs, Reb Russell had three hits and two RBIs, and Dixie Walker had three hits and scored three runs in Finnerton's 7-5 win over Zulu.

Framingham 9, GHosts 3
SANDY, UT. - Lou Gehrig (21) started the game off with a 2-run homerun in the first inning, and Framingham went on to top the GHosts of '69 9-3. Dale Murphy (9) hit a pinch-hit 3-run homerun in the 7th, and George Watkins had three hits for the Rug Rats. Eric Davis (1) homered for the GHosts.

Lafayette 2, Jimtown 1
JIMTOWN - Pinch-hitter Willie Aikens singled to right with two out in the top of the 8th, scoring Alan Trammell from third, and Lafayette held off Jimtown to get a 2-1 win over the Jackhammers. Lou Piniella went 3-for-3 for the Shoe Salesmen.

Las Vegas 2, Seattle 4
SEATTLE - Bug Holliday (8) homered, and Seattle closed out the 2005 OTL regular season schedule with a 4-2 win over Las Vegas. Darrell Evans (20) homered for the Expos.

Texas 13, St. Louis 8
ST. LOUIS - After two quick outs leading off the top of the 1st inning, Goose Goslin (14) hit a homerun, Texas went on to score four runs in the inning, and held on to get a 13-8 victory over St. Louis. Jim Delahanty had four hits and four RBIs, and Bill Joyce had two hits and four RBIs for the Mudhens. Mike Schmidt had three hits, including two homeruns (32) and five RBIs, and Ty Cobb had three hits and scored four runs for the Browns.
