 | Gas House Gang Bender Silences Wallyworld Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010: Chief Bender really wowed everybody at the ballpark with his 6-0 shutout victory over Wallyworld today. The Utah pitcher mystified the Wizards in a strong performance. He gave up 4 hits and totaled no walks and 2 strikeouts. His manager said, "Chief had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves. It was something special to watch." So far this season Bender has a 31-9 record with a 3.07 ERA. |
