 | Rug Rats Shut out by Radbourn Saturday, September 25th, 2010: The Framingham Rug Rats struggled at the plate today against Brown Bombers hurler Charley Radbourn, who shackled them on 5 hits while hurling a complete game 4-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said the Rug Rats skipper in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Radbourn finished the game with 4 strikeouts and no walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," his manager said. "Charley made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." To this point in the season, Radbourn shows a 12-18 record, 34 starts, 257 innings, 213 strikeouts and a 4.38 ERA. |
