 | Cross Sticks it to NL Pitchers Monday, September 27th, 2010: It was announced today by the National League that St. Louis shortstop Lave Cross had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .630 batting average, 17 hits and no home runs. Cross also racked up 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Cross is presently hitting at a .372 pace with 4 home runs, 80 RBIs and has scored 104 times. |
