 | Hit Streak Over, Titans Stop Collins Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010: His run was over, but a College View victory took some of the disappointment out of Eddie Collins losing his 23-game hitting streak. The 37-year-old second baseman did not get a hit in 3 at-bats, but the Diamonds whipped the Clear Lake Shores Titans 5-3 today at Coors Field. This year Collins has hit 2 home runs and posted a .364 batting average. |
