 | Hamilton Extends Hit Streak to 31 Games Thursday, September 23rd, 2010: Billy Hamilton collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 31 games. His club, the Oroville Padres, beat Zzyzx 15-8. After the ballgame, Hamilton quipped to a BNN reporter, "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball. I'm pretty excited how things are clicking." B. Hamilton singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, walked in the 9th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far in 2010 Hamilton is batting .385 with 3 home runs, 81 RBIs and 107 runs scored. |
