 | Dickey Sizzles -- Smokes Green Acres for 5 Hits Saturday, September 25th, 2010: Bill Dickey had an answer for everything the Cabrini Green Acres threw him today in the Motown 12-8 triumph at Joe Robbie Stadium. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Motown catcher went 5 for 5 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Dickey said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." B. Dickey doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off S. Ontiveros in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This season Dickey has hit at a .345 clip and produced 57 RBIs, 10 home runs and 112 runs scored. |
