 | Brett Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, September 23rd, 2010: George Brett, third baseman for the Clear Lake Shores Titans, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 4 hits in his club's 17-6 victory today over the College View Diamonds at Coors Field. G. Brett grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This year Brett has socked 245 hits in 686 at-bats for a .357 average with 21 home runs. He is getting on base at a .390 pace and his totals also include 95 RBIs and 126 runs scored. |
