 | 5-Hit Barrage by White Saturday, September 25th, 2010: There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Solomon White of the Evil Do'ers had one of those moments when he went 5 for 6 at the plate today, but he couldn't pull out the victory. Despite his hitting heroics, Glen Wilton fell in defeat 7-6 to the Ghosts of '69 at Dodger Stadium. The 26-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time. It would have been very special, if we had won the game." S. White singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, singled in the 10th, singled in the 12th and walked in the 14th. This season White is batting .330 with 207 hits, 24 home runs, 84 RBIs, .359 OBP and has scored 82 runs. |
