 | Robinson Belts 5 Hits Sunday, September 26th, 2010: At Shea Stadium Frank Robinson of the Utah Gas House Gang put on a hitting clinic today against Portland. He banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and mauled Gladiators pitching, but came up short in the win department. In spite of his standout 5-hit performance, the Gladiators captured the game by the score of 9-7. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," were his words in the postgame interview. F. Robinson doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 12th. So far this season Robinson is batting .272 with 17 home runs, 87 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 164 hits in 603 at-bats, 19 walks and a .294 OBP. Robinson has played in 158 games. |
