Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010: The 26-game hitting streak of 31-year-old catcher Don Padgett came to an end today at Crosley Field. The Black Yankees held him hitless in 4 at-bats and also sent the Ghosts of '69 down to defeat 5-1.
So far this season Padgett has gotten 220 hits in 617 at-bats for a .357 batting average with 6 home runs. His stats include 62 RBIs and 80 runs scored. He has played in 142 games. | |
