 | Terry Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, September 23rd, 2010: The Maquoketa Mustangs stopped the Calcutta Indians today 6-4 and Bill Terry was able to hit safely again. The Maquoketa first baseman got 3 hits and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. Terry was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Mustangs fans!" B. Terry doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th. Currently Terry is hitting .401 and has collected 16 home runs, 92 RBIs and scored 105 times, while playing in 157 games. |
