 | Anson's Hit Streak Reaches 31 Games Sunday, September 26th, 2010: Cap Anson has been ripping hits every day for quite some time, and no team seems to be able to stop him. The Houston catcher got 4 hits today against the Seattle Rainiers and now has a 31-game hitting streak. The Gunslingers won the game 8-7. C. Anson grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 11th and flied out in the 13th. In the 2010 campaign Anson has hit at a .347 clip with 70 RBIs, 4 home runs and 113 runs scored. |
