 | 2500th Hit for Bonds Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010: Barry Bonds reached the 2500-hit milestone this afternoon at Yankee Stadium. The 38-year-old Indians left fielder went 1-for-5 in a losing effort in the Calcutta 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Maquoketa Mustangs. His career numbers show Bonds is currently carrying a .293 lifetime batting average with 602 home runs and 1665 RBIs. |
