 | Musial Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 24 Saturday, September 25th, 2010: After 24 games, Stan Musial saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 4 at-bats. However, the Titans won, which took some of the sting out of it. Clear Lake Shores topped the Wilmington Powerhouse 5-3 at Ebbets Field. "It was a good run," the center fielder said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." Thus far this year Musial has hit .372 with 22 home runs and 114 RBIs. |
