 | It's Official! Ghosts of '69 Barnes Hits .400 Tuesday, September 28th, 2010: What a year it was for Ghosts of '69 second baseman Ross Barnes, who had to fight the pressure all season long. Few players manage to attain the elite status of a .400 batting average, but Barnes kept his focus the entire season and ended it with a fabulous .400 average. He totaled 271 hits, 59 doubles, 7 triples, 1 home run, 105 RBIs and 123 runs scored. "It was an amazing year. It doesn't get any better than this," Barnes said during a press conference today. |
