HOW ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?
I sim all the games using the latest version of OOTP, with lineups and pitching rotations
you send to me via e-mail. The games are simmed on a daily basis to
coincide with a regular calendar. I upload the Boxscores and League stats
on a daily basis, including individual player stats.

GAME PLAY
The Oldtimers League uses the "Replay" mode of OOTP, as opposed to the
career mode. Oldtime Players in our League do not age, and consequently,
do not retire.
The [Financial], [Computer Trading], [Coaches] and [Spring Training] options are turned off.

ROSTER LIMITS
OOTP active rosters are limited to 25 players, expanding to 40 players
on September 1st. In the postseason, the active roster is again limited to 25
players. Roster moves are not allowed in postseason. The minor league
levels have a limit of 25 players each.

PROTECTING PLAYERS
Managers may protect as many as 4 players, but not more than 4. They cannot protect more than 2 position players, nor more than 2 pitchers. For each player they protect, they will lose one draft pick.

PITCHING ROTATIONS
Pitching rotations may be with five, four or three pitchers. You identify
your starting pitchers and the order in which they will appear. It is highly
recommended that your familiarize yourself with the recommendations suggested
in the Manager's Tutorial.

TRADES
Trades can be made at any time up to the trading deadline. There are no restrictions
on the number of players that can be included in any trade negotiation.
Inter-League trading is permitted until July 31st. Thereafter, all trading expires.
After this date all 40 man rosters become frozen. Also, on September 1, OOTP expands
the 25 man roster to 40 (just like MLBB), so you can move additional players up to the
Active Roster for the "push to the pennant".
For multiple-player trades you will need to use the League Trading Form. For
simple trades, who you get and who you give up will suffice. Trades MUST be
verified by BOTH managers, and approved by your respective League President.
If one Manager fails to verify within 48 hours, the trade will be null and void.
Trades with computer-controlled Teams will follow these same guidelines.
