JIMTOWN -- "Sunny Jim" Bottomley had 4 hits, and Heinie Reitz drove in 3 runs as Jimtown stayed alive in the Series with a 6-1 win over Florida. Allen Sothoron scattered six singles over seven innings to pick up his third win of the playoffs. After a day off tomorrow, the Series returns to Florida on Friday for Game 6. The Pelicans lead the Series 3-2.

JIMTOWN -- Stan "The Man" Musial had 3 hits, including a homerun (1) and 4 RBIs, to lead Florida to their win over Jimtown, and a 3-1 lead in the 2004 OTL World Series. Luke Appling had 2 hits, 2 RBIs and scored 3 runs for the Pelicans. Jim Bottomley and Pete Rose each drove in 2 runs for the Jackhammers.

JIMTOWN -- Jimtown scored four runs in the first inning, and Dick Rudolph pitched a 1-hitter, as the Jackhammers returned the Game 2 favor by shutting out Florida 4-0. Lave Cross and Tommy Henrich had two hits apiece, and Harry Hooper drove in two runs for Jimtown. Lone Pelicans hit was an 8th inning, 2-out double by Vada Pinson.

JIMTOWN -- Florida scored two runs in the first inning, and Harry Krause limited Jimtown to just four singles, as the Pelicans blanked the Jackhammers 2-0. Krause went the distance walking one and striking out four, to give Florida a 2-0. The Series now shifts to Florida for Game 3 on Tuesday.
NOTE: Jimtown pitcher Noodles Hahn started both Game 1 and Game 2. Both Managers are aware of this unfortunate circumstance, and both Managers have agreed to leave things the way they are. Truly class acts, both of them.

JIMTOWN -- In the top of the 8th, Ezra Sutton's 2-out triple scored Tony Lazzeri from second, giving Florida the 3-2 win over Jimtown in the first game of the 2004 OTL World Series. Wilbert "Uncle Robbie" Robinson had 3 hits, and Hank Aaron and Lazzeri had 2 hits apiece for the Pelicans. Ozzie Smith had 2 hits, and Steve Brodie drove in both runs for the Jackhammers.
