OROVILLE - Jimtown erupted in the top of the 8th inning, scoring five runs, hi-lited by a 3-run homerun by Spud Davis, and the Jackhammers beat Oroville 7-5. Harmon Killebrew and Norm Cash had two hits and an RBI apiece for the 'Hammers. Jimmie Foxx had three hits and drove in two runs for the Padres. Jimtown advances to the 2005 OTL World Series to meet the GHosts of '69.

FRAMINGHAM - The GHosts of '69 scored two runs on three hits in the top of the 9th, and held on to edge Framingham 2-1. Earle Combs went 4-fo4-4 for the GHosts. George Watkins hit a 9th inning homerun for the Rug Rats. The GHOst move on to meet Jimtown in the 2005 OTL World Series.

OROVILLE - Johnny Niggeling waited until Game 6 of the NLCS to pitch his best game of the year, limiting Oroville to just three hits over eight innings, as Jimtown defeated the Padres 3-2, sending the series to a deciding Game 7 tomorrow. The Jackhammers' Lave Cross led off the top of the 6th with a triple, and scored the go-ahead run on Fred Tenny's third hit of the game, an infield single.

FRAMINGHAM - Addie Joss, having allowed just six singles, got the first out in the top of the 9th, and then Rick Monday singled, putting the tying run on base. Mark Eichhorn came on in relief, and got pinch-hitter Joe Cunningham to ground into a 6-4-3 double play ending the game, giving Framingham a 3-1 win over the GHosts of '69, and the ALCS will go to Game 7 tomorrow. George Watkins had two RBIs for the Rug Rats, and pitcher Hilton Smith drove in the only run for the GHosts.

JIMTOWN - Noodles Hahn pitched a brilliant 1-hitter, and Jimtown shutout Oroville 5-0. Hahn walked none, and struckout four, facing just one batter over the minimum, that being Hank Aaron who doubled in the 8th inning. The Jackhammers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, and never looked back (White Sox fans know all about this...lol). Oroville leads the series 3-2.

SANDY, UT. - With one out in the top of the 10th, pinch-hitter Pie Traynor homered to deep left-center, Max Carey walked, stole second, and scored on a double by Ted Williams, and Framingham downed the GHosts of '69 4-2. Nig Clarke had three hits and an RBI to lead the GHosts. The GHosts lead the series 3-2.

JIMTOWN - Tom McCarthy limited Oroville to just four singles, and Norm Cash drove in the game's only run with a first inning single, as Jimtown shutout the Padres 1-0. Oroville leads the NLCS 3-1.

JIMTOWN - Hank Aaron hit a one-out sacrifice fly in the top of the 9th, scoring Cy Seymour from third, and Oroville edged Jimtown 5-4. For the Padres, Jimmie Foxx had two hits and an RBI, and pitcher Bill Burns drove in two runs with a second inning double. Spud Davis had two hits, and Jud Wilson drove in two runs for the Jackhammers. Oroville leads the series 3-0.

SANDY, UT. - With two out in the bottom of the 11th, Rico Carty singled, and scored all the way from first on a double by Joe Cunningham, giving the GHosts of '69 the 3-2 win over Framingham. Whitey Kurowski and Nig Clarke had two hits apiece for the GHosts. Ken Caminiti had two hits, and Lou Gehrig and George Watkins each drove in a run for the Rug Rats. The Ghosts lead the series 2-1.

OROVILLE - Oroville scored first in the 3rd inning. Jimtown tied the game in the 7th, and it remained that way until the bottom of the 15th, when Cy Seymour walked with the bases loaded, giving the Padres a 2-1 win over the Jackhammers. Perry Werden scattered 8 hits into the 9th inning for the Pads. Steve Brodie had three of the fifteen singles for the 'Hammers.
