FRAMINGHAM - Hal Trosky hit a 2-run homerun in the bottom of the 8th, and with two outs in the bottom of the 9th, two singles and a walk loaded the bases for Lou Gehrig, and "The Iron Horse" delivered his third hit of the game, a single to center driving in Buddy Rosar and Pie Traynor, giving Framingham the 6-5 win over Glen Wilton. The Rug Rats will face the GHosts of '69 in the ALCS.

Jack Glasscock followed that with a double down the right field line, and when the relay throw went wide of the plate, Glasscock scored, giving Jimtown the 3-2 victory over Zulu. The Jackhammers now advance to the NLCS to play the winner of the Woodlands-Oroville series..

The GHosts now wait to see who they will play in the ALCS, Framingham or Glen Wilton. Bob Ferguson had three hits, and Rick Monday had two hits to lead the GHosts. Ed McKean and Mark McGwire hit homeruns for the Powerhouse.
