Breaking News | | Reb Russell Gets Best Bat Trophy Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010: One of the Sub League 1's most prestigious honors is the Outstanding Hitter Award. When the votes were counted, the 2010 recipient was the talented right fielder of the Zzyzx Geodes, Reb Russell.
He starred this season with a .264 batting average, 23 hits, 8 home runs, 15 RBIs, .508 OBP and 32 runs scored. | | King of the Hill Announced by Sub League 1 Tuesday, September 21st, 2010: Sometimes fans are left scratching their heads when a reliever wins the Outstanding Pitcher Award. After all, it is the most important pitching honor in the Sub League 1 and one of the highest accolades in baseball.
But a reliever? Well, that just doesn't happen very often.

Jouett Meekin proved to be the exception as the New Haven bullpen specialist crafted a 3.22 ERA and a 8-1 record in 89.1 innings over 29 games, posting 2 saves and 149 strikeouts on his way to outshining the league's best starters. | | Sub League 2 Announces Glove Wizard Award Winners Monday, September 20th, 2010: Making the play is the mark of great defenders.
